My responsibilities include leading the delivery of the organisation's Strategic and Management Plans, Governance and operational engagement with the NZCB Board, and liaison with other strategic stakeholders. Having worked in the building industry in various leadership positions for a number of years, I am passionate about the opportunities that NZCB and its members can deliver to the communities of New Zealand.
GROUP TECHNICAL MANAGER
In today's over regulated building environment, I find builders sometimes need a helping hand to get through it all. I am fortunate to work alongside a team of devoted individuals who support me in delivering builder education, new membership processing and supporting members when things go pear shaped on site with clients, councils and subcontractors. Coming from a building background allows me to empathise with what keeps builders up at night, so if it’s a business template or a sounding board to what’s happening on the building site, I’ll dig out a resolve or point you in the direction of help.
COMMUNICATIONS & GROUP SERVICES MANAGER
As Communications Manager my role is to effectively inform and promote NZCB, its brand, its people, its mission and its products. I am also responsible for all aspects of benefits for our members, from sourcing new and exciting deals and discounts to ensuring a rewarding and knowledgeable annual conference is delivered.
I have over 15 years applied accounting experience and oversee the NZCB Finance department. I have detailed experience in all aspects of month end accounts, taxation and year end audit processes and am responsible for overseeing all aspects of the monthly accounts for both the NZCB National Support Office and Regional Associations.
EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO CHIEF EXECUTIVE
I assist the Chief Executive, and also make travel and accommodation arrangements for other NZCB staff, some of whom travel extensively in order to provide training and other assistance to our members, nationwide. I enjoy working in a member organisation, where all NSO staff are united in their dedication to providing services and assistance to our wonderful NZCB members.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – SOUTH ISLAND
I have a background as a Trade Qualified Carpenter and have worked in Tertiary Education training ITAB Apprentices. Based in Christchurch, I engage with builders and carpenters around the South Island by delivering our Building Trade Professionals workshops, keeping our members well informed of the latest changes within our industry. I also coordinate the ITAB Apprenticeship Programme on behalf of NZCB and work closely in partnership with ITAB accredited Industry Training Providers throughout NZ.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – NORTH ISLAND
I have been involved in many areas within the building industry. I am a tiler by trade and have a background in the spouting, balustrade and handrail industries. I am your ‘on the road’ guy for the North Island, delivering Building Trade Professionals workshops – to keep all our members informed with the latest industry trends and regulations. I will also be coordinating all ITAB apprentices and dropping in and working closely with trade training providers in their area.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - AUCKLAND
Having recently joined the team, I am enjoying my role of letting qualified builders know the benefits of becoming an NZCB Member. In the past I have been a director of a small business, and am a cabinetmaker by trade, so I appreciate some of the issues builders come up against while running their own businesses. It's great to work for an organisation which supports business owners as well as providing their clients with peace of mind.
Natalie Le Maitre
My role with NZCB includes invoicing and receipting membership & advertising levy subscriptions, administration, and coordinating the order and delivery of your membership cards and certificates.
NEW MEMBERSHIP COORDINATOR
My role as New Membership Coordinator includes all the processing of new membership applications and changes to our current memberships. If you need to upgrade from an Individual to a Business member or are making any company changes then please contact me.
BUSINESS SUPPORT COORDINATOR
I am the friendly voice on the other end of the phone through the main line at the National Support Office. Supporting regional activities, I organise the Building Trade Professionals workshops, send out notices and text reminders for regional meetings and events, and keep the website up to date with anything we have happening in your area. Should you require any information about events or news in your region, please give me call.
My role as Project Coordinator involves providing support to the Chief Executive and other senior staff with the development and launch of new services and service initiatives for members. I have a background in Account/Project Management in the print industry and design in the building industry and I am the point of contact for Certified Plans and the REVERE magazine. I also organise media with the presidents for regional events and administer the AST fund applications.
I am the editor of the official NZCB bi-monthly magazine, InHouse & the monthly NZCB e-Newsletter, InTouch. ADMINSTRATION & MEMBERSHIP SERVICES
My role in administration & membership services is to answer your incoming phone calls and to assist members in arranging discounts and deals that NZCB offer including Fisher and Paykel orders and AA Roadside Assistance. I also manage the online shop and all outgoing merchandise orders.
KEY PROJECT SUPPORT
My role as Project Support is to assist the team in all aspects of business, with a focus on meeting the needs and wants of our members. In essence, I provide help where help is needed, both within the office and to our members. I also assist potential new members and members who are due to change their circumstances, regarding how to adapt their membership.
CUSTOMER LIAISON COORDINATOR
The role of Customer Liaison Coordinator is to field enquiries from homeowners and NZCB members, providing advice about your working relationship, and assisting in the facilitation of successful outcomes.
