Pragma Homes are seeking a Residential Project Manager to join the team located in our Hamilton office.  This permanent position covers project management of the building of our residential homes, ensuring our high levels of customer satisfaction, quality and build specification are achieved.

The successful candidate will also be working alongside a great team of friendly like-minded individuals in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Be the primary point of contact for trades and suppliers during construction.
  • Ensure the home is started and completed on time.
  • Ensure the home is completed to specification, and to the expected high quality of workmanship.
  • Manage all sub-contractors to ensure they adhere to the build programme and quality standards.
  • Comply with the Health and Safety Policy Statement and OHS Management System at all times.
  • Ensure the Site Specific Safety Plans (SSSP) are developed and on site before any work commences on the site.

The ideal applicant will have the following skills and experience:

  • Project management training programme or qualification is desirable.
  • Licensed Building Practitioner Site 1 and Carpentry accredited is desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the construction industry.
  • Proven Project Management experience.
  • Intermediate skills in MS Office tools including MS Project.
  • A sound working knowledge of Health and safety practices in the construction industry.
  • Knowledge of residential practices and Council compliance regulations/requirements.
  • Understanding of current building product range.
